I leave my typewriter to do some research on it, and this is what my wife does while I’m away.
Also, it was built in 1955. It’s older than my dad (by only 1 year, but still).

It’s certainly on the dry side, I’m pretty sure she had to hold each key down for a second to get it as dark as she did.

Actually, that started with old buckling spring computer keyboards from the bad old days, like the IBM Models F and M. My C64 keyboard had switches like that, too...
